The SVT is a packs / efficiency method of the rockwall ford f150, released by Ford’s Unusual Vehicle Team (SVT) division. Launched for the 1993 model 12 months, the SVT Lightning competed in opposition to the Chevrolet 454 SS, primarily as an action to improve the sporty, personal-use picture of the Frd F-Series pickup. Powered by a 240 hp 5.8 L V8, the Lightning revealed its simple structure using the F-150, but quite a few adjustments were forced to the suspension and the body to improve the handling. Growth was 11,563 SVT Lightnings between the 1993 and 1995 model years.

In 1999, immediately after a three-year hiatus, Frd SVT unveiled a new rockwall ford f150. Close to its predecessor, they were based on the F-150 with significant suspension conversions. Although the Lightning shared its 5.4 L V8 using the regular F-150, it now employed a supercharger, creating 360 hp (380 after 2001). To take care of the additional power, the 4-speed automated transmission was borrowed from Frd’s V10/diesel Very Duty trucks. SVT Lightnings developed between 1999 and 2004 numbered 28,124, once they were discontinued. Doing so edition is flaunted in the videogame Gran Turismo 5.
Harley davidson Davidson Version

In 2000, Frd released the Harley davidson Davidson Edition in an extra cab, quick bed F-150 model. In 2001, the Harley-Davidson Edition was moved to the Supercrew F-150. In 2002, Ford opted to more fully specialize the Harley davidson Davidson Version by adding the supercharged engine from the SVT Lightning, with a to some extent bigger pulley to lessen boost by 2 lbs. For 2003, the F-150 Harley davidson Version remained a Supercrew F-150 with the supercharged 5.4 liter V-8, but added 100th Anniversary badging. In 2004, on another generation trucks, it became primarily an appearance bundled package and was also readily available in the F-250 and F-350 models. Doing so would carry on until the 2010 model twelve months.
